I'm searching to buy the front grills since I don't like the stock one with the emblem...

So far I have found two types:
1. Grillcraft - Full set, Approx $190
2. T-Rex Billet Grill - Top and Bottom, $270

In your opinion, which one looks better? (Both in black of course)

and if you know any other types of grills that looks good, could you post it here or send a link to pictures? Thanks..

So far i'm liking the t-rex billet grills, not too fond of the purchase separetly for a total of 270...

oh and if you know places online where they sell it for cheap, let me know

 

personally i like the grillcraft. im getting it after i order my headers and intake. i dont like billet grills.. too much blingage for me.

 

easy soultion, go to ebay and type in "scion tc grille" and about 7 will pop up. I got the one thats about 40 dollars that just fits over your current grille, but I'm guessing you wouldn't want that one since it leaves the emblem. but thats my suggestion, if you can find the most expensive supercar in the world (isdera comendatorre 112i) on ebay, you can find a grille.

Is the sport grille from the RS tC available for public sale??

 

i dont think the rs grill is for sale...what i read about is that the dealerships are selling it for 1000 but thats not guarenteed..so i'm not really sure..if it was for sale i'd buy it right away

 

I have the grillcraft in black on my silver tC, looks so nice. And um, the grillcraft grill is much more better looking than the billet grill, that's too truckish type for me. As for the RS grill, i don't like that one either, it's your choice. I have to post pics of my car soon, i've done a few things to it.

Your grillcraft looks nice...was it hard to install? I was reading the installation page and it said that you keep the old grill behind, based on your picture, I don't notice the shape of the scion emblem....is it just the angle? or is it not visible? i've seen some pictures of cars who has the grill and can still see the emblem really faintly...did you do anything different?

 

No offense to the Grillecraft faithful, but from anywhere closer than 10 feet, it looks like a fireplace screen-- and the openings are just big enough to show everything behind the grille, in full color. While the billet wasn't my first choice, the price kills Grillecraft (about $100 shipped), and once you blackout the billet, it's really quite nice...

 

I think i've decided on getting the grillcraft grill...does any body know the cheapest place to purchase it? so far i've found one from allscion.com which sells it for a total of $306...which is a lot...cheaper please..cheaper!..anyone?

 

Good call on the Grillcraft Grille. That's what I want to get next. If you want something inexpensive, I found this site www.grille-tech.com. Not too sure about the quality, but they look decent. (They actually don't have a pic of a tC with it inserted-being that it is "Coming Soon".) If you go with Grillcraft, just be sure to go with the 3-Piece Bottom kit. Looks MUCH better IMO.

 

I ordered the Stull Industries billet grill myself... im just gonna paint it black and hope it works... its also the only one that fits the ground effects kit easily. 211 bucks shipped from www.autoanything.com

Mr. Grille Aluminum grill looks nice except for 2 things; (1) It doesn't come with the 2 lower side vent pieces. (2) It doesn't come in black. [I know, I know-just paint it lazy! ] The $$$ is nice though.

I don't like how the grill crafts sort of pop out a 'lil bit. That is my only gripe. If only there was a way to buy the black grills that come with the RS tc's . . . .
