I love my ground effects. They really set apart the car from others and give it a subtle, aggressive look. I'm sure dropped it'd look awesome, but I find that with my 18's it doesn't even need a drop. Here's a link to check mine out if u r interested...

Good luck with your car!

i have the tein s-techs on my car right now which already drops me 2.5" but no body kit/ground effects yet...BUT i'm getting the PROGRESS Tech tC Coil Over Kit which will drop me 1 1/4" on install and adjust me to 4 1/4" at shows. i'm not sure if 18's will work, nevermind ground effects.

I got mine for free. Dealership ordered it and intalled it on my tC when i never ordered it and it was too late to switch it back. It gives it a different look without being too ricey. I love the way it looks, but dont know if id pay the near grand for it.

i would tell you what i think but, it doesn't matter what i think.

the real question is this. do you like the body kit? if so, get it. Unsure? wait and get them later.

My guess is you do like the kit. If you didn't, you wouldn't have posed the question. so, get them and be happy because you know you want the it.

Personally, I don't think they are worth it. Then again, I'm an old fart (well, 36 is out of the target demographic) and I honestly can't tell if they have it or not. For $1000, I'd probably get aftermarket.

On a related note, dealers generally don't like these things. My internal costs to install the body kit is actually more than the $995. I had to negotiate a deal with my parts and sevice departments to make it so I didn't loose money when installing them. If a customer wants it, I try to get them added at the port so I can actually make a little money on it.
