Default Had a little accident

Body shop quoted $600 to replace entire front clip. Looking for some suggestions should I replace it or may cover it with a lip kit also what is avg. price to get a lip kit painted and installed?

I figured a larger washer would solve the broken tab problem

Did you break both straps under the bumper ? is it sagging ? you might be able to put a front lip over the bumper and get some fender washers on the srews under the bumper. You could get a cf front lip for like 190. this way you do not have to have it painted, it might be cheaper than having it painted. But only if the bumper is still secure.

bumper isn't sagging, not even any different from the other side in terms of stability. Would prefer a painted lip, does anyone know if any lip kits come up high enough to cover a crack like that?

The rs1 lip would cover it as long as it is only cracked by the fog light.

Here some pics on mine, as you can see it covers the top of the center part. Hope this helps you

Not to treadjack or anything, but after seeing some of those pix, it reminded me that I had a question a while back.

What is the part that I have circled in this picture? I mean, it looks like it's part of the chassis, but what is the purpose to its shape?

I'm sure you can find a cheap abs one on ebay or racingsolution, I used body velcro to put mine on. seams to hold stronger than tape does.

I am in the same boat, only I need my rear bumper replaced. I was hit on the way to work from a Illegal I would imagine since he was Hispanic and fled the scene after hitting me.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but won't the RS1 front lip have to be trimmed to work with the OEM fogs?

i dont think so...... someone (rhythm? davedave?) had oem fogs and an rs1 front lip and it fit with a little convincing of the lower grille. aka pull grille up and put lip underneith.

I had the same thing happen to my front bumper, and some ahole got to close to my rear bumper and scraped the side so i need both bumpers! Dealer sells them for like $240 unpainted, I found this website www.mytoyotaguys.com but i dont now if these are remanufactured bumpers or like the ones from the dealers.
