i WOULDNT buy anyhting from umnitza. all their stuff is WAY over priced and they are nothing but a bunhc of ****** there. id wait till someone better comes out with them. like oznium or somethin like that

Plus umnitza will probably have people pay for R&D and never produce the product. Yes, Im still mad about the projector thing.

yeah umnitza screwed alot of people over and meeting them in person... well their just plain rude and should not have entered the scion community. so since im not on the same boat with umnitza. then their out of the list. haha keep guessing guys!

 

if i had to get my hands on a set i would develope a set for them, like i did for the others i made. I just need a test dummy, maybe if someone was interested i would give it to them free so i can make a templet for them. ANY ONE!!!

I am getting a set next week and am not in a hurry to put them in since I have a 06 with the headlights still in them, so I maybe interested in dropping them off to you.

 

I do haveto agree with all of you that umnitza customer service does leave alot to be desired.

I have some eyes from them that are 16 months old and now one of the rings need to be replaced.

Means taking them all apart again for 1 rings and on top of it they really dont like to light up when it is cold here in Chicago.

They will do me a favor and send me a new one for $10.00 process and handling fee, but then they want me to send back the old one. For what? do they think I am sacamming them for a free ring? Like I really want to take these apart again for one ring.

It's one of those love hate things with these eyes.

 

i would like to have the headlights for some time though, i don't want to rush them and either make them too big or too small, plus with the 08's i could possibly make the full circle out of them.

The 06 versions were like a 1/2 circle around each of the bezel rings,

 

I Just want to make sure you will be able to see them on even when the projetors are on. I know if you look at them straight on then you probably wont but with the projetors I hope you will be able to see the rings from the side.

Like I said above I am not in a rush to put them on so taking time is no problem.

 

i know you will be able to see at least 2 of them, don't know bout when the headlight is on... I know when mine went on, it drowned out the light of the halo.. whenever you want me to start on them when you get them, we can meet somewhere so you can drop them off for me so i can get started on them.. I'll give you any color you like.

another thing i was thinking and my friend asked bout it is that i have dual red/blue leds, i was thinking of wiring one of them to flash red when the turn signal bulb goes on, would be a sweet thing to figure out how to do.

Have there been any mods done for the orange lights on the side of these 08 projectors?

 

i haven't had any chance to do anything to an 08 projector, so once i have them open, i can see what can be done and let you know.

 

I am picking them up on wednesday. I see from another post or maybe on another forum you live in CS? I work in HE so maybe we can meet up over by Portillo's or something and drop them off to you.
