Yes, they did come out nice. Thanks for the help in getting me started.

FYI: These are not as bright as the CCFL, but come close.

I see a couple of you posting are around Chicago and I am out by Woodfiled. Let me know if you want to see them up close.

Write ups. They are out there, but the problem is finding something in the diameter of the ring you need to bend the tube around. To get them for the Tc took a good part of a day with learning everything. Gap size, ring size, template for rings, depth of the cuts, drilling out ends for led's without breaking them, what mcd led's to buy, etc .... None of the write ups tell you any of those things.

All I can say is if ayou want to do them yourself, you will need to give time and effort in order to figure out how to do all the steps.

^I think that's why most folks are willing to PAY someone to do it...I don't mind paying for quality work and peace of mind knowing that said person did their homework before attempting this...

The only thing in question is the quality of the led's. That's about the only thing you would have to limit any warranty to. Other then that I feel they are great queality.

^ I understand that...I've been debating on doing this to my 05 headlights...but no one is selling these like that...

it would be a nice product if a warranty could be offered too...but I guess there's no telling how long they would last without R&D

I used to make them for the 05-07 headlights, still have a bunch of rings laying around needing LED's.. i used to only offer very limited warreny, hell, i installed some HID's in a friends car, and for some odd reason once the HID's turned on, it spiked the voltage and the LED's went out on the Halos. Never the less, i am replacing them for her only because of close friend, but otherwise i would say sorry to others, LEDs are touchy P.O.S.'s but are still more reliable than cathodes.

ATTN: Gauging interest

Ok, so seeing as some owners would love to have a set of these for their 08's and i have everything needed to make them, if enough people would want a set, i am willing to make a limited quanity all depending on how many are ready and willing to purchase a set. i was thinking around 75 for white halos, and 100 for colors (blue, red, UV purple, orange, green) obviously this does include Free shipping. So please if you want a set, let me know, Once the list hits 5 potential serious buyers, i will start making them and once i have them ready i will PM the list when they are ready for shipment..,, So who wants a set??

Wow.........that is a beautiful product.........think I will need to go get a spare set of headlights to bake open.......$75 is a great price.......is that with the LEDs installed to the rings already.........

Please make up a a few for people.......I am in the middle of buying a Yaris for a work car but once I am done with that downpayment expense I would like a set..........
