did you use a hairdryer?
you are not suppose to push the creases and gather them at one corner you should push the creases toward the edges

Two word for you: Good LUCK!!!!

I tried those ovelays and they didn't work for me either. My thumbs felt like they were going to fall off after an hour! You could have gotten a can of VHT Nightshades cheaper than the overlays and would look 10x better. I used Lens Paint on my TYC tails. Check it out in my "profile". If you like that, I can give you a link that would help you out. Just let me know.

I am planning on getting blue bat headlight tint and have read the instructions many times. It says to use a hair dryer and work the wrinkles out towards the edges, not all towards one edge. Good luck.

yeah, good luck...........

they need to be cut about 2 inches larger around the light to make them fit better. good quality vinyl, but very difficult. Not worth the time IMO. just get red paint, and do what we did......
best thing to do, is buy lens paint mask off the reverse light with 3 inch masking tape, then paint it. better outcome, and wont peel back..........and no creases.
if the vinyl was larger you would have more control over the overlay when installing it.

i used a hairdryer and i still ended up with 1 small wrinkle right on the edge of both lights in pretty much the same place. i had to really pull the vinyl while i heated them with the hair dryer. i'm happy with the look tho. i did my headlights as well. have a few places with a line of really tiny bubbles but it doesn't bother me. i'm happy with all of it. i did my foglights as well but they ended up drying out and cracking and melting. lights just get too damn hot

Wow,That doesnt look very good. We have looked at offerng that very same shade and film, but have limited ourselves not to use them for the tC. Our 20% Smoked film applies much easier and is a lot easier to install. Good luck.

I am posting my pictorial guide to applying this particular overlay tonight or tomorrow! Basically what you want to do for tyhe top portion is stretch it alittle then apply pressure to lay it flat. Stretch it some more and apply more pressure. Basically you just want to work your way up to the top. Again, I'll post a new thread with pics tonight or tomorrow
