^x2. the headlight inside is already black like mentioned. The chrome pieces, i believe, do come apart. Did you get headlights that were already painted and want to paint them black? I'm pretty sure there is a DIY here of how to separate the headlights and install angel eyes. Just follow that DIY and paint the headlights to whatever color you like
NO! they are not black lol.... they are gray
and okay ill look for the DIY thanks guys.... oh and i just really want the chrome off so when i do paint it everything will be perfect you know...
but thanks for your help

You will need to bake the headlights to get them appart inorder to get the best access to the areas you want to paint. I am uber bad at explaining how to do it but if you search retrofit, baking headlights, or headlight DIY you shoud come up with some step by step ways to do it. Good luck post up your progres & results!
Sweet i no how to bake the lights and get them apart.... the only thing is how to get off the chrome off really thats all i want to know how to do.... does all of the chrome just snap off????
and are then headlights in the picture above without the chrome peaces or did you just paint everything BLACK?

just painted that piece all flat black, the chrome rings around the headlights do not come off and you will need to keep the chrome on the back part of your headlight assembly to have even remotely useful headlights.
