Default Headlight bulb replacement

Since I dont have the money to get HID kit, what are the brightest bulbs that I can put in the headlights using the stock wiring??

I have heard Silverstar Ultras and I have heard Luminics....

Which one is brighter?? Can I see pics if you have some??

Thanks

No halogen bulb will ever give an HID look.

Most Luminics bulbs are coated with a color, which actually decreases light output, plus they are high wattage which can fry harnesses and blow fuses.

Some people cut 9005 bulbs to fit into the 9006 plug for lowbeams, which would be like driving with highbeams that don't blind oncoming traffic. This too can be dangerous because of the higher wattage.

I would recommend Silverstars or Silverstar Ultras.

Remember though, automotive bulbs must be SAE approved to be street legal, DOT approved means jack when it comes to automotive driving lights.

Also a I want the purest white... would that be about 6000k HID's???

Yeah I would go with 6K. That should be bright white with a hint of blue in there.

You only really need the lowbeams if you think about it. I know I never really even use my highbeams.
