Hello all,

As a Scion Dealer, we get hit up all day and night with products ot pitch to our customers. This is almost a daily occurence for us since modifying a Scion is a lifestyle. That being said, I want everyone to know that we stand 100% behind our products and services that we offer at the dealership. That means even the outside services we offer to our customers. Chad came to us 3 years ago when he moved here and pitched his products to us. We liked the idea, but needed to see what the products did, how they looked and how well they worked so I offered up my car for a demo. We liked it so much at the dealership that we recommend the products to all of our customers.

Chad has always stood by his products and quality of them that we have been using them for the last 3 years and wont use anyone else. There seems to be some he said she said junk going on in here. I can tell you that both Chad and Kyle are two different people.

Everyone has the right to choose which products they buy, which they use and that is all good. That is what makes everyone different and unique. Keep modding!

Wow, I think this thread is getting alittle out of hand. Look, both Rockblocker and I offer good products. I never touted my overlays as full protection by any means. I do use a thinner material whereas Chad uses a thicker material. You'll get the same look from both. If you seriously want major protection, maybe Rockblocker is the way to go. If protection isnt your #1 priority and you wanna save alittle money, you can go my route. I've been approached by companies like Laminex to use their materials for my product. Although it is more expensive than what I use, I chose the cheaper route only because you have companies like Rockblocker, Cleargaurd...using the thicker material and offer premium protection. So I'm just offering an alternative althopigh may not provide premium protection, it gives the same look at a lower price.

Bottom line is, its nice to have choices. People will have their opinions on both. Lets just be grateful there's more than one choice here

I'm just going to say that, leaving everything else out of the discussion, the Rockblocker material is much easier to install on complex surfaces like tC headlights. I've used both products (and still have BlueBats on my TBL) so I"m not just making an assumption here.

Both RockBlocker and BlueBat have great products and great customer service. And I applaud them both for what they do for us Scion owners.

2nd that....and Bat, please don't take my comments as anything negative towards your product. As seen by the images and testimonies of your many customers, you have a great product along with RockBlockers!!! As you said, looks wise yours is just as great as RockBlockers, but if protection is your concern then maybe RockBlocker is better. I was just thrown off by Orange's comments and felt the need to defend myself....

....since he basically accused me of not being real. I know he made the disclaimer comment in his post, but he still said it and that means he was thinking it!!! And that ain't koo!

Amen to 2 great businessman understanding how competition drives their market to succedd!!!!

Hey, dont forget about AggressiveOverlays they are much like Bat's stuff in thickness. Whatever you get make sure that you are completely sober when you try to install them, drunk installs dont turn out real well.

i didnt hit up bat, he contacted me. i never asked you for free product, i asked for a sponsorship. i am in the market for an overlay. i could care less about rock protection. this was never a topic for opinions i just wanted to see how cars looked with blacked out headlights and what the light output was (still hasnt been answered.)

and sorry to kooLAID, it wasnt an attack on you, but i have seen on other sites were people will pull this kind of stunt. it was not an attack on you or your realness.

i do want to thank everyone for their input on the topic BUT I STILL WANT LIGHT PICS!!!! i prolly would have gone with rock blocker if i wanted protection, but i do my best to drive like grandma and away from trucks, so that is just not a concern for me.

again, thank you a sorry to everyone!

Way to bring us back to the SL level! Not drunkenness, but extreme laughter and fun!!! That is the reason I hang out here, that I don't ever really want to work on Fridays!!! Who does???

Let end it at that guys. Chad and I both have been vendors on here for a good while now. It wasnt until now that something like this stirred up the pot. Now, lets but our boxing gloves down and have a Batweiser shall we

Heres a pic with headlights on and my darker 6/10 tint. You're looking at about a 15% decrease in light output. Now with my lighter 3/10 tint no more than 5% decrease in light output

With a Sponsorship you will uaually get free product and are a trade off. A company is going to give you their product not making you pay for it and you will Promote them with placing stickers on your ride, telling people about their product, supporting them...etc....

No worries...aplogy accepted and thanks! Not sure how well a night photo would come out, but we can try and take some pics tonight of a few of the guys with RockBlocker's on...I know it isn't the same, but will at least give you the idea of what they look like at night.

As RockBlocker and Bat said earlier, just upgrade to HID and it won't be a problem. Plus, once you go HID....you never will want your stock bulbs again!

Thanks Browndogg for posting those pics up. I didnt have my camera with me. The real test is what the road looks like lit up not what the high beam or the low beam looks like. Looking at the lights isnt the same as driving with them.

Everyone have a great day!!!
