I know I saw some threads about headlight overlays, but I can't seem to find the one I'm looking for.

I'm not looking for an overlay to cover the entire headlight, I'm only looking to cover the orange sidemarkers of the 2006 headlight. I was hoping for some white or silver overlay. Hopefully I'm not being stupid, but I'm not even sure if placing white/silver overlay over orange is possible??

Well, if that does work, please let me know where I can buy some.

oh sorry. well you know how our headlight is clear? well, i'm looking for an overlay color that matches our clear headlights so to cover the orange sidemarker. so mainly white, silver, or grey. that's what i meant.

 

in otherwords, you want a white, silver or grey side marker. yeah, an overlay isn't going to work. to do taht, you would have to open the headlight up and change the reflector itself. putting an overlay over just that part would be kinda like...odd, because it would just be a sticker over the cover, not an actual change to the reflector.

does anyone sell a clear or smoked side marker to replace our yellow?

i am going to be baking the headlights and want clear or smoked. I searched on here, but too much bs came up

Smoke it yourself. It's not very herd once you have the light open. Use some nightshade or some other type of tint or paint

 

I don't want any yellow coming through? I think I need to replace completely not just night shade it

not an overlay, but a replacement... this is the closest you will get.

 

it looks like he took the clear plastic cover from a drop ceiling light fixture and cut it to make them...

maybe I can do that and just buy the parts from home depot.

okay I'm going to jack this thread because I want to know about the bluebatmobile overlays. Don't yell at me either because I too used the search button but what I need to know is how to freakin order them. When I go to www.bluebatmobile.net I just get a photobucket page of pictures. Nothing about ordering. If it's something simple I apologize. I know I'm blonde but seriously, where do I order or even see prices of these things!?!?

the easiest way i would think is an overlay, but painting would be a better looking alternative...

I used Bluebats' overlays until i just went with paint instead....they are kinda tough to put on if you have to put them around curves...or maybe im just retarded

 

if you want something permanent paint them on its easy, i did mine on the outside cuz i didnt want to bake them

 

well I am baking mine to add halos, so I will already have them open

 

just paint the sidemarker black and take the bulb out

 

I want a hyper white bulb in there

 

oh then get those florescent light covers and cut them to fit, home depot has them
