Default headlights under warranty?

I looked for anything online and in the forums but I have not found a clear answer.

I have an 06 tC and am noticing more and more moisture within my headlamps my HID's dry it out but a wash or a rain and you can see it form inside it seems to be happening every moist day now. Is this something that would be covered under warranty? You can actually see the moisture where it formed and dried on the reflector part of the headlamp. I have the Platnium extended warranty. I will remove all traces of my HID system if this is something that may be covered

you're going to have to read your platinum extended warranty coverage and see what it says. not a bid deal though, 06 headlights are les than 200 new. try having to replace an Adaptive bi-xenon headlight on a BMW. lol.

I read through it like 3 times Even found a PDF online and didn't see anything with lights or headlamps.. I saw light bulbs are not covered, I saw side marker lights, reverse lamps, and turn signal lamps are covered... nothing on headlamps though

Call your dealer and ask. Problem solved.

They should be covered, but it obviously depends on the fine print. Wearable items, such as the light bulbs as you found, are not covered.
