HELP with Headlights
OK - I have a 2006 black Tc and I would like to get that "Bright White" headlight look.
Does that require getting all new headlights? OR Can I just buy LED, HID, etc. bulbs and put them into my stock headlights??
If all I need is bulbs, which ones should I get?
Brand, Model, Size, Wattage?
Thanks - I am sorry if this was already covered in another post...

Also I suggest superwhite LED replacement bulbs from Autolumination.com or PIAA for your corners, city/parking lights, and license plates.
Do not get an HID conversion kit as the stock reflectors and shields in your headlights were not made for HID and produce too much glare. If you want HID, you must do a retrofit with the right shields or projectors.

Never heard that... in fact LED's are very low heat and lower-power consuming. I've had them for a long time with no issues. If 250 F in an oven for 25mins doesn't melt them, LED's aren't going to.
The LEDs are low heat, ya, but the headlight bulbs aren't really.
From the superbrightleds site:

Warranty Information
Do not use LED bulbs in the same housing with head lamps, the heat will cause them to fail quickly and void the warranty.

I know, I know-the pic is dark
, but here are the SilverStars in action. Take into account that I also have HID Blue Headlight Covers on. The SilverStars are actually whiter in person and whiter than the stock amber bulbs.

One of the better mods I did for only $72+tax.

i had the silverstars for a month and wasn't satisfied anymore...i later tried luminics for a month and same result....if you want the HID look you should go get it....nothing will compare....but if you just want some silverstars get them at walmart...i've seen them sell them by the pair for $35...

You're nuts... Silverstars product far MORE light - especially more than Luminics. Their bulbs may look cool and fry your harness, but you wont be able to see crap.
