Default Help with Jlevi Cut off shield :(

I'm fairly lost, I can not find a schematic of a cut off shield.....

Should it look something like this?

I have been driving around when these projectors for over 5 months...their fine and all besides the terrible cut off...it is actually quite embarassing to drive around lighting everything but the road....

Are the angles suppose to be really radical? Around what degree should the incline be on the shield? I have noticed they all look angular at one side...Or is it the lower the degree the better?...as you can see I am really lost....

Thanks....

And i've looked through this thread...and the way ndo...did it..I really did not like it...since his cut off..seems so "flat" https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=asc&&start=40

I'd like to replicate this...is it possible?

What determines a cut off to be nice and clean? The Plate it self or the Projector!?

Thanks....

no the cut off angle should NOT be that extreme, I don't know what the hell Jlevi style headlights were thinking when they design the projectors itself, talk about lights in all the wrong places! you might be able to "simulate" the cuttoff shape of the picture you posted, but you're not going to get close to the even light spread. Cuttoff is the shield plate and projector lense, light spread is the bowl and the lense.

When I get the chance I will...either that or i'll guess I have to buy 08 projectors...because honestly the cut off is that bad!! I'm blinding the crap out of people ...I literally see people covering their side view mirror because of my projectors blinding the crap out of them : (
