Help with VRD Foglight installation (wiring)
Hey guys,
I purchased a set of VRD foglights for my tC, and I have one question regarding the wiring of the foglight. There are two wires coming out from the housing, a black one and a white one. It seems like the white one (coming out from the H3 bulb itself) is the power and the black (bolted to the metal base of the bulb) is the ground. At the same time, the harness also has two cables for each side, but one is white with black stripe, and another is red. Seems like red is power, and white/black is ground.
So does the white cable from the housing (or bulb) connect to the red cable from the harness?
I am confounded because the photo on the instruction provided seem to have it the other way around.
Thanks,
Mike

what do you mean you switched them around?
I looked up the design on the H3 bulb online, and somebody verify this, but the wire is the power input and the base is meant to be the ground. Now if the bulbs suck enough and is really suppose to be the ground and thus the material used isn't that good of a conductor, hooking the power into the ground would still work, but might cause the bulb to consumer the power. However, I am still not sure where the power is suppose to go in from.
