Default HID and 08 Stock projector

Newb question:
Sorry for this but
will the 08 stock projector work with h11 plug and play hids?
is there anything else needed etc.
i have hids in my 07 and have no problem.
one of my friends is asking me if he can do the same.

the 08's use h11 bulbs. but u should def get a relay

Just use the HID set that you have on your 07 BUT you have to buy H11 HID bulbs for it to work, just plug and play like the 07.

if you get flamed its because there are 1000 other post about this and you didnt use search.

yes they work, i have them. I bought a relay set from mobilehid just to be on the safe side. nothing else is needed.

I have a question that I don't think warrants it's own thread but is headlight related. Has anyone bought any hid look-a-like bulbs like these:

What worries me is that the bulbs are 80W - meaning they will create A LOT OF HEAT. Has anyone installed bulbs that are more than 55W in their 08 stock headlights? I don't have enough money for HID's yet, but want that HID look bad.
