I have just installed new dual halo projector on my 2007 scion. They look amazing, but the HID's i put in are giving me trouble
One is super bright (driver side) where the other one is not as bright (passenger side) i haven't really messed with the aiming.
It also looks like it could be flickering when i hit bumps that are decently big.
I also made my own relay harness which seems to be doing its job pretty good.
could it be a faulty ballast/bulb?

sounds like the HID bulb is loose in there, open it and check it out

 

no, i checked and took it out and made sure it was in there really good.
i reaimed them today, not perfect but WAY better.
also one light looks more blue and the other is like pure white?
fml idk what to do.

it almost looks like they're two different color temps.
when i look at the cutoff top, one is yellow and the other is blue
the flickering on bumps seemed to go away after i reaimed and secured everything.
My cutoff looks autistic
got them from customtc.com for 91$

FYI, the cutoffs on all aftermarket projectors suck! You're just lucky you paid $91 for yours and not $200 like I did. The cutoffs are so bad that I had to take them out and put in my stock 05+. Just saving up for a retro now

no like one lights cutoff is awesome then the other is like all weird and awkward, will be taking pics tonight
and it was 91$ for the hids off the same site, and 170 for the projectors

 

Check the fuse... try changing the lights. Put the passenger side bulb on the driver side and the driver on passenger. See if it's the bulb or the ballast.

don't know if this helps lol, my cutoff on my right headlight is retarded and idk how to fix it, you cant see how its less bright though only from dead on.

 

^you can kinda see left side is more yellow at cutoff and right side is more blue

 

the cutoff/output/design/looks is retarded on those headlights! you should of went with 2008-10 headlights and put HIDs in those.......

it depends on how much cash you have to spend? they're about $200 each side for 2008-10 OEM headlights which look like this...

 

You have to get H11 bulbs to fit the OEM headlights.
