I am really confused. My 08 tc came with projector headlights so are they the same as HID? and If I get HID's how can I make it look like BMW HID's instead of regular HID that fill up the whole light housing?

 

Projectors do not mean HID. You can put an HID kit in if you want to replace your halogen setup. I don't understand the last line of your question.

 

BMW has true hid projectors.
3 series has the e46 and zkw and 5series along w/the 7 series have the e55 bixenons.

You have a halogen projector. Put an HId kit in there and it will look better than having it on a halogen reflector but you will have no width and poor intensity.

Just because it is a projector, it doesn't mean it will handle HID's. I believe you want the blue/white effect from luxury cars, correct? a true HId projector will give you that and more.
