Default HID Retro-fits

I have enough money to get a set of the HID Retro-fits. My only question for everyone out there is...which ones should I get?

1. Angel eye HIDs from clearcorners.com @ http://www.clearcorners.com/products.../tc1/F_hlamp1/

OR

2. tC HIDs that have been retrofitted from BMW ( hidretro.com ) @ http://www.hidretro.com/page50.htm

Or should I just buy one of the plug and play kits?

I welcome any suggestions, comments, and input.

the clearcorners one have no projectors...they charge you $1200 for a paint job and leds...and the leds are no where as bright as ccfl angle eyes.

holy hell, they're $1600 now...used to be $1200

Maximus96, why are you selling your retrofitted headlights? Not what you expected or what? Both you and Eddnog are selling yours....are you going to start another headlight project or do you just like the stock OEM style better?

There are alot of people on this forum who have made retro-fits. Once I finish adding angel eyes to mine, i'll post and see if anyone wants to have me do retro-fit service.

Sometimes, it's more fun just doing it yourself!

Isn't that the truth. So far I am somewhere between and :D with my retro. Made couple of stupid mistakes like pulling some chtome off with masking tape

As for the retrofit, go on HIDRETRO and those guys can make one for you. Each has reputation on the quality of their work. Ask around there, don't just go with first recommendation.

ouch! did you use the blue masking tape? and when pulling off the tape did you pull towards the edge of the chrome so you don't lift any up at the edges?

I personally like the bmw look. I just added my high beams today and matched them to the low beams I already had. Love that 10k shine. Good luck with your project. Like to see them when they are in.

I might sell mine also and i get no condensation, mine work great. just selling maybe to make different ones and more hooked up and more money involved.

The post that FLEA cites from HID Retro are my lights. I can tell you that the quality of work that HID Retro does is awesome. The lights look OME.
