hey seen as how there arent any HID ready headlights out, and its taking for ever for company to come out with them. i was thinkin about jumping on the retrofit bandwagon

but wanted to twist it up a bit...

yep those are teh 2005 Infinity Q45 projectors.

 

Yupe, Q45 headlights, quite a few ClubLexus members have retrofitted those into their GS...Sickest headlights out there to do a retro...

I ran across one of the Q45's yesterday on the way to the post office and noticed their headlights...
I was talking to myself and said that would be a badass retrofit project.

the only problem thought is our headlight housing is so thin. so it may be a tab bit to long or too high. if you got the tools for a redesign at hand i say try it

 

hmmmm. those are pretty decent projectors from what ive read on HIDPlanet.com. the cutoff isnt the best but it looks like the output is very well ballanced!

about the sizing thats the same size of my TSX projectors but you'll probally have to get something custom made for a shroud since it will take up pretty much all of the lowbeam section. Im not 100% sure it will fit inside there. Those projectors are also a bit pricey!!!!

 

Anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

Hmm interesting retrofit. Im on this thread. Good luck. Our low beam spacing is pretty big, maybe this can fit... Now question is, what shroud will you use???

yeah i knew they were a tad big but the the depth you maybe able to get a away with. looks like if you do its going to have to be all custom though.

i sure our headlights are between 4 to 4 1/2 inch wide i cant remember because its been so long since i did my retro.
