Default HID wiring harness question...please help!!

I bought a set of Mculloch HID's from ultrabrightlights.com(great guys by the way...bought 2 sets of HID's from them and they hooked me up nicely both times). Their kits come with the wiring harness so you dont fry out your stock headlight harness. The problem is, on this wiring harness that I have from them, theres 2 wire leads coming off it...a black lead and a white lead and they have some sort of connector on the ends that almost looks like half of an alligator clip(hope that makes sense). It looks like maybe a wire goes in there and then gets folded over to crimp it? Where do these wires go to? On my kit for my xB that I had got from them a while back the harness didnt have these extra lead wires. If you guys need pictures to see what I am talking about I can get them when i go into work today at 3.

your kit suppose to come with a harness clips. I think that's where it goes. And stuff the wires into that clip. You have any pictures of these wires? There is also a DIY for this kit look under the tech section.

Wiring harness.... do you mean a new relay or just harness? Relays is a bit more tricky then just PnPing it.

honenstly you don't REALLY need that harnes. I've had several kits and multiple harnesses. I've never had a problem with melting wires using either method. Only time I ever melted anything was when i was younger and bought off the shelf hyper whites. Ended up frying 3 plugs before i went back to regular halogens. I've gone hid and will never go back

I am thinking of buying the HID kit, but I cant bring myself to spend the money when I have driven the car in the dark like 5 times in the last 6 months. Is there any better brands then others? Sorry to hi jack thread.. LOL

I have bought a set from the guys over at ultrabrightlights.com for my xB and never had one problem with them. Pictures of my car are actually up in their 6000K gallery. They use the Mcullough ballasts which are a lot better than most of these crapy korean brand ballasts. They always turned on with the flick of the headlight switch, never stuttered to go on or never cut out on me.
