Please dont yell at me, I SEARCHED!! (just nothing that helps)

So as of now, I have niether, but my Night Shades is in the mail, and I'm starting to look at some HID kits. At first I was just going to only tint my tails, but now I kind of want to do my fronts too. I think I'm gunna be going with the 8k's (possibly 6) for the HID's and I'm contemplating what I should do.

At first, I figured don't do it because whats the point of getting HID's if I'm going to distort the color anyways.

Then, I figured, HID's will be bright enough to shine through so it won't be an issue.


Finally, I started thinking about leaving a circle on the headlights lighter than the rest so the light can shine through. Kinda fade it out to darker towards the border of the light. ya know?




Anyone got any advice, comments, ideas or pictures? pictures would be amazing but dont think thats happening

i have 8k on my car with headlight overlays and it took about 15-20% of the output out of my headlight.

Get HIDs alone, get 4300k. Mobilehid is good and 3bspecialties is good too, that is what I have. Most HIDs install basically them same if I am not mistaken and shouldn't take but 30 mins.

4300K are pretty white aren't they??

I am leaning towards more of a blueish tone. For some reason they just seem more unique from every other headlight on the road

 

my overlays are 20%. looks badazz at night when your trying to lose the cops and then you turn off your HID's n go into stealth mode lol jk jk.

 

Well most of the headlights on the road are yellowish, but I understand. Yea they would be white but would give you the best light output. But it is up to you if you like the look of tint on them then do it, but to me it would just be a waste of money to buy HIDs then tint the headlights and lose the purpose of the HIDs.

 

yea, I know it sounds really stupid. but the picture kinda convinced me. especially since I'm only going to lightly smoke it. the tails will be close to blacked out, but I just wanna take off the "stock" look of the heads.

I have a feeling your decently informed in the HID field, and I am still a little unfamiliar with respectable brands. Any pop outta the top of your head??


p.s. remember i'm a broke seventeen year old that is short on money. but i do realize i may have to wait a bit to save up a little money for
1. decent quality set
2. freedom from taking neverending ____ by all you pro's because i have poopy hid's : )
