Does this while driving over rough road or bumps. Very irritating.

I know you don't want to hear this (even though it is an honest answer) but it is the quality of lights that you bought... or the lack of.

Its the cheap quality of the headlights you have. When the option is available, always upgrade to different stock headlights, not cheap ebay crap.

Just as an FYI, I'm running on stock projectors and I once had HID bulbs that bounced around whenever I went over bumps (and I actually thought this was normal because I was laboring under the delusion that HID's were supposed to flicker like that).

Anyway, I found that by ensuring that they were seated properly in the socket and simultaneously immobilized that the error would not occur again. In order to secure the fitment, ensure that you are using the rubber seal that came with your HID bulbs. Further, a supplement was using electrical tape to seal it to the housing.

Once I adhered the bulbs to the housing using the electrical tape, the bouncing effect was completely eradicated.

You might try this method for your aftermarket headlights to ensure the appropriate performance, because mine did this in the stock housing. When I purchased new bulbs, the effect was eliminated, but I still use the electrical tape as an added precaution.

Please clarify.

I have stock 09 housing and I'm using cheap ebay HIDS but I like them other than the bouncing. Are you saying the stock housing is bad or its the cheap bulbs?

its cheap stuff in general...cheap bulbs may not have exactly the right plug to fit into the lights and bounce and vice versa with the cheap headlights themselves.....you get what you pay for

Can someone post where to get non "cheap" bulbs but not crazy expensive either? Good quality without the insane price.

Thanks
