Default HID's with Luminics JDM Yellow -Page 2-(56K BEWARE) UPDATED

This is my first time posting pics on this forum. Here's a few pics of my new H.I.D's 6500k. I took these pictures after I washed my car. I want to get another set of H.I.D's for my fogs but my girlfriend said I was crazy. So I bought luminics pure blue bulbs, after I installed it and turn it on, it looked "turquoise" compared to the H.I.D. I think I'm going to exchange it for the JDM Yellow bulbs for fogs. What do you guys think?

The brand is called "Bright Star", its not a well known brand name. My brother made connections with them a few years back at the SEMA show, they've been so kind in shipping 10 sets to us for other cars in my family as well as my friends at a very low cost. All of them are still running and there has not been a set which I had to send back.

Yeah, I took the picture while sitting on the curb so there's a lot of glare. I had my friends drive in front of me to see, I even made my gf and my dad to do the same to see if it bothered them, they all told me its alright. My dad told me its better than an escalade pulled up behind him when he's in a sedan.

That set looks like it would be nice in a projector housing. Sweet. I'll have to look up that brand. pretty glary. Kudos though.

I would really love to have projectors, but I'm not in the mood of baking my headlights....its just the lamp and oven don't mix well to me

Looks very nice. I'm sure people other than me would appreciate a link to the company you got them from if you happen to have it.

How accurate is the color in the pictures vs. your unaided eye? I just helped a friend install HIDs in his MkIV Supra last night and his didn't seem that blue, and I thought he said they were 8000k.

I'm with you on keeping my lamps out of the oven, though I'd really like to get rid of that orange reflector, grrr...

Other than that its really nice. Now if they would come out with a set where we just pop out the old ones and insert the new ones.

Yea, but what kind of heat do you think those bulbs are throwing out? Not trying to be a dick so I'll give props to it. Clean car too.

Actually I've heard HIDs are cooler than halogens.

Actually those pictures are pretty acurate to the color of unaided eye...thanks to my new sony 7.2mp cybershot.. I went to search on the web and found their weblink http://www.brightstar-hid.ca/index.htm

I've heerd that too, I know its dumb but I actually just lay my hand in front of the lamp when I was doing the installation on one side and then the other. You can actually feel the heat from the halogen bulb as its projecting..it hotter than the HID

Yea, but what kind of heat do you think those bulbs are throwing out? Not trying to be a dick so I'll give props to it. Clean car too.
I went to look at the box and it stated "6500K", I always thought its 6000K I was wrong...they are a little bit more blue than average stock HID's you find on the road, but not to the point of lets say 8000k which you can tell those are conversion kits that people have driving around.

Now if they would come out with a set where we just pop out the old ones and insert the new ones.
This set is a plug and play set, it was actually really easy to install. I never installed anything, I always ask my bro to do it for me, but it took me only 15-20 mins...

I don't believe their website function as a online shop, someone wanted the link to the site so I've found it and posted it. As for buying I would suggest either call or e-mail that address they have on there. I personally got my from the factory in taiwan and I think my brother talked to them directly...on the website they seem to have a canada distributor location...
