What would be cool is if somebody could build some kind of projector housing inside of the VRD's but I remember from installing them that area is a tight fit

350z projectors would probably fit.

Someone on here has IS300 fogs retrofitted for the tC. They don't look too good, but the output is great.

True..350z projectors definitely look like they would work - only wish I had the loot to try. And I remember back in '04 some people here were putting in IS300 fogs before VRD's came around - lol..times have changed pretty quickly

i love the hids in the fogs, but other people hate me following them. they are extremely bright. that other tc i was with (optional aka Tyler) tells me to turn them off if i have to follow him somewhere. haha. but they light up the road like crazy.

^ That is horrible and you're only like 10 feet from the wall. Do it again, but at 25', which is the specs for the car.

eh i disagree i had OEM and got rid of them for the VRD, imo the VRD offers much better light output then the oem did, considering i have had yellow HIDs in both and with the OEM i couldnt tell if they were on or off 90% of the time, but i can see the VRDs 100% of the time and the visibility is a lot better. but im bias i love my set up, HIDs in VRDs are great... idk abotu on coming traffic but thats why im doing a retro fit and maybe somethin with the fogs idk yet

I think VRDS look good with 3k hids though its not really yellow when u look straight at it just white...i added lamin-x overlay to my fogs and it kinda takes some of the glare away... heres a few pics....I noe their not that great..but o well...im sure tc2 thumper got a good look of them at the recent University Village meet...they started out green remember? then warms up YELLOW....

And here is the proof that HIDs in VRD fogs are just stupid.

5000K Low beams

5000K Low beams w/ 55w Halogen bulbs in VRD fogs
