Default Hit by Drunk Driver

Hey what's goin on tC Fans? I regret to inform that my month old baby tC Release series 3.0 was struck by a drunk driver over the weekend.

I was at an intersection waiting for the red light to turn green so that I may proceed with my left hand turn. I was the second car in line. When the light turned green, the traffic directly in front of us started to come our way. The car in front and I waited patiently as they passed by. The car in front noticed a car stationary at the light almost as if the driver fell asleep. So the car in front of me beeps the horn. The guy wakes up and and hits the gas......He starts to swerve left and right. He crosses over the intersection still swerving......I pick my head up from changing out and CD and notice that the car is coming straight for my car. He completely missed the car in front of me and clipped by driver's side fender taking the mirror with him. I put the car in neutral and popped the E-Brake....When I step out the car The guy Floored it and took off. I couldn't catch up nor did I get a plate number.

The damage isn't that bad....But damn the car isn't even a month old. I need to paint the bumper and body kit....Maybe Replace the Fender and Rim and buy a new side mirror.

Pic below.

Damn that sucks. I've always said that if somebody does that to me, I would hunt them down! Did you go after him and try to catch him or did you stay where you were to fill out a police report?

My best recommendation to you is to report the guy/girl asap before he/she fix the damage on his/her car. Do it tomorrow if not yet done so. Let the cops know that they should check out the person's car asap. Good luck
