Default hood choice help?

im ready to buy a CF hood for my SW tc but having a hard time deciding between the Kaminari or the VIS EVO hood

I know the kaminari is amazing in everyway possible but its expensive while the EVO hood i can get at a really good price and i kind of like how it looks just as much as i like the Kami hood.
Another thing is that i plan on painting the EVO hood if i got it. Painting the sides like the vinyl overlays and the middle vent indention area SW to match the rest of the car.

I really would like to buy either hood before i ship off to bootcamp towards the end of july so help in making a decision would be great.

Had one on my car for a few months but decided to go with a different look, didnt really flow well with the tc's body lines. Got lots of compliments, but just didn't feel right to me haha. Sorry cars hella dirty in the picture

That is their opinion. kaminari has the best fitment and best quality out of most of the hoods out there. I would only buy that one or seibon OEM style

No that would look stupid to have the vents painted, the sides might be okay but it is not my style

thank you DJ08tC for your input and actually answering my question.
i didnt mean actually painting the vents themselves but the area around the 2 middle vents.

yeah i think the evo hood would look weird as well. it's just that the design of that hood wasnt ment for our cars. plus that's a design of the older gen evo's and that's what gives their car a distinctive look. it like putting on a body kit design that was made for a certain car onto another. it just dosnt flow right.

its just my opinion. if you can pull of the look and make nice some how, be my guest. other than that i think you would kill part of the cars identity by getting that hood. just check around. there are actually new designs coming out but looks almost similar to the kaminari hood.

the evo hood is already bust enought and its sharp line clash with the tc's rounder body lines. painting parts of it would just make it even worse.

No doubt that 'EVO' hood is ugly looking. Fast and Furious styles arent cool/good-looking anymore....if they ever were in the first place.

I used the Kaminari hood on my tC. It fit awesome and needed nothing to make it work like OEM. The quality of there work is awesome. I now use Seibon and love their products. Have you looked at them yet?

Here is a pic of the Kaminari that I used.
