how do i properly install an rs1 lip? i currently have it intalled with 2 zip ties and double sided tape. The double sided tape doesnt really do anything.sometimes when i pull out off a steep driveway the side of the lip detaches and hangs off. Im going to lower my tc so im trying to make it super secure before i drop it. Im thinking i drill holes and screw with a bolt and nut. good or bad idea? not really tryin to go to a body shop i dnt wna waste money

 

You should have screwed in the sides like so.

That's just to give you an idea to install, it'll vary a bit person to person.

^^ search like this guy said, but as for installing i used double sided tape up front by the grills and 2 screws in each fender well.

 

yeah my lip didnt come with those holes so ima probaly do that thanks

 

None come with holes. You have to drill them.

 

^^ yea you can ether drill them or just get some self tapping screws that require no drilling. that what i used was self tapping screws.

 

My cf one came with holes.

 

I suggest getting the OEM Rubber strip that goes between the lip & Bumper..It cleans up the edges!
