hmm. i'll start my own diy. lol. well i have my own method of washing my car and a lot of people like the way i wash it and they always come to my house when they i'm gonna be washing my car. i wash my car the next NICE day my car has been exposed to rain. but this is what i do.

1. Rinse down the car, real well.
2. Fill up a bucket with Meguiar Car Soap, some asian people use dish soap. the hell is up with that?
3. Soap it down really good, dont forget to get the bottom part because thats where all that residue and stuff are still hidden.
4. Then rinse it down real good make sure theres no soap bubbles ANYWHERE.
5. Soap it down again real good.
6. Then if you have a Mr. Clean kit, use the soap thing again over the Meguiar soap.
7. Then use the spot free or just use mist.
8. Pull out the absorber and dry it.
9. After drying it good, spray Meguiar Quik Dry. (Don't do this while under the sun pull your car into the garage.)
10. Wait 15 minutes.
11. Rub off the dried wax.
12. Show it off on the streets.

Est. time: 1 hour - 1 hour 15 minutes.

I know it is a long process but you want your car to look good.
My motto is: "If your car don't look good, you don't look good."

I prefer clay magic from autozone. Great kit. Just make sure you use enough lube. You can never use too much lube!

my process is:
wash>clay magic>deep crystal 1(only once or twice a year)>deep crystal 2>meguiars 26 wax

and then glaze if you want it REAl shiny, but be warned that glaze is temporary. Water will take it off.

autopia.org is awesome.
