You are asking the wrong crowd...we all know modified cars sell for less than the owners think it's worth and its better to go back to stock before selling.

I think you'd get a more "real world" response if you asked on a forum that isn't car related.
^^ agreed. The only time to sell the car "as-is" is if you are selling to a buyer that is looking to get into the modified scene. Otherwise do a part out.
* also most of us here that have our cars modified know that the extras we put into them while we have the car is only for the enjoyment we get out of having them. As anything else automotive, everything depreciates over time. aftermarket parts do the same way.

just fyi, i was offered 14k by a toyota dealer in AZ, last month (fr-s shopping). my car has 22k miles and the only mods they wanted me to leave on it are my wheels, springs and strut bars. so private sale with all my mods i think i could get bout 18k.

These things have great resale value. Again just fyi.

You can sell the car at any price really, just depends if someone willing to buy it at that price and if your willing to wait years to find that buyer. If you looking for a quick sale lower the price and be realistic. Dont add emotional value...

Some of the quotes here are rather low. These cars hold incredible resell value as do most Toyotas.

Finding the right buyer is key, but if you've done your part in maintenance, upkeep and kept all the receipts on mods, parts, and where the work was done, then it could be sold for quite a bit over the KBB price.

Especially if it has a death-ray mod.
