How stupid would it look?

I am doing a turbo kit and would like a bigger opening in my front grill for the intercooler. I was thinking of just doing an after market front bumper, but don't want to do the rest of the kit.
You think it would look really, really stupid??? Or, you think I can pull it off without being made fun of?
I am thinking of the Touring Polyurethane front bumper if anyone cares

How big is your intercooler?!?! Most I have seen fit nicely behind the stock bumper or slightly modified stock bumpers. IMO that bumper alone would looke a bit ridiculous, it works well as a kit but alone it makes me lose my lunch. Plus the stock fender "flare" would not match up, also detracting from the looks. Perhaps you could look at other people's FMIC set ups and find something that fits your taste. I mean I know you're just asking for opinions but I think it would get made fun of, kind of like you couldn't afford the whole kit to finish the look, know what I mean? Good luck

It's a decent size intercooler for the stage 1.5 by ZPI. I figured get a bigger opeing for that intercooler then the stock opening?
I appreciate the honesty. that's what I wanted from this post!!!

i say go for it...the bumper is urethane so it nice and strong.. if you have the oem ground effects kit..i dont think it would look out of place.. is your car dropped? this kit is low.. one of our guys i think used to have this kit.. dont quote me on that but im about 65% sure..

I am dropped on hotchkis and trd shocks and struts. I actually bought the Viniati Fierce lip kit and sold it so I wouldn't crack it up. I've had polyerethane on my eclipse and it took a beating and didn't bust.
