So with $250 can I get good 8000k or 10000k hids for my tC?

yes, there are a lot of choices on ebay. granted, some may not be high quality; you must research first. there are, however, several cheap, good sets floating around out there with impressive warranties.

yeah DEFINITELY go with operatic. he offers an awesome set for 160 shipped OVERNIGHT. doesnt get much better than that. I have the 10000 and they are amazingly bright and an awesome color. if you need pics or anything let me know!

jeeze, yall n00bs need to start searching first. I swear there's tons and tons of threads on HID's already!

4300k - OEM (Lexus, BMW, ect...)
6k - white/blue
8k -blue
10k - blue/purple
12k - purple

the higher you go, the more prone you are to attract unwanted attention and the great lost of output.
