actually the cutoff is better than anzos

 

i love those lights and have been itching to pick up a pair..any pics of the cutoff? thats pretty much the only thing stopping me from purchasing them. ive heard its not the best.

 

i posted on the other thread as well but here ya go.


this is before i adjusted the beam. i can take a picture of a slightly better cutoff later

 

downside of these lights are installation. i feel really bad bending the frame in order to fit the headlights
x3 racing know nothing about what they are selling, who made the product and didn't even test fit the product. when u ask questions to x3racing, they wont reply u back. i was ____ed. i would have asked for return but i bet that would've taken me months.
also another downside is that lights got darker but not too dark. i expected that though

 

i personally think that cutoff is pretty sweet compared to other aftermarket projectors for the tC

now i want to pick up a pari also....

but is the not fitting part that's holding me back

open your hood and imagine where you would cut if headlight's dimension is thicker front to back.

did u get rid of that metal part?

 

bending it looks bad...plus that not really the main frame of the car its just an upper support bar thats about as strong as a couple aluminum cans lol. The lights fit perfect after i made that cut

 

hmm k, how well did low beam fit? wasn't it too tight?

 

everything looks nice! i like the silver grille, but i gotta agree with everyone about the black. it would look really nice in there!

hmm.. maybe you because you are using stock bulb? i am using PIAA bulb and it was a bit tight to fit and once it goes in, hard to come out

 

nope not the stock bulb...its an HID kit
