What do you guys think about spoilers in general?

a rear spoiler on a front wheel driven car is useless, it's just causing unnecessary drag at high speeds. for US traffic, spoilers are generally uselsss, when u are on a german autoban doing 120mph, then the downforce from a spoiler actually helps, at 45-80 mph, u are just draging

 

Most spoilers are for aesthetic purposes only. There good, bad, nice and ugly one. Those big o "clothes hanger" look really silly. You gotta have really thick skin driving that car and put up with people laughin at you constantly. Don't get me wrong. I love spoiler, but for god sake, pick a nice one.

 

My wife hates spoilers too, that's why she just records her soap operas.

im a fan of the no spoiler look on most cars but then again some car must have a spoiler to look good.

 

get the oem rear lip spoiler.. nice and simple

 

what is the point of saying you hate spoilers and then asking what other people think? make up your own mind and do what you want.

 

def. agree! oem spoiler all the way for a simple and clean look.

 

as stated some cars need the spoiler for aesthetic value, perfect example, the lamborghini countache, it looks like ____ without its rear spoiler... or the g35, it looks much better with the infinity wing spoiler on it. Perhaps the supra, that too needs a spoiler for looks.... or my neighbors riced out FORD TAURUS, that needs a spoiler to draw as much attention from the hideous nature of that car, both aesthetically, and performance wise. The Tc however, about all you need is a lip spoiler for looks, if you really want a big wing, go for it, but try and mount it on the front of the car where it will be usefull .... FORMULA ONE STYLE BABY!!!

I was thinking the same thing Z.

I hate spoilers to...like when your friend tells you the ending to a movie when your on the way to see it. It just puts you in a bad mood for the whole movie.

I normally tell people that the main character dies at the end, even if I haven't seen the movie, just as a joke. But sometimes I am right accidentally and they come back after the movie and kick my ___...

 

J_Bomb you are the biggest idiot at SL.com. This has to be the 2nd or 3rd post to direct it to your original spoiler post. You already have like 100 votes on the original post but you continue to post new "Spoiler" threads. Are you stupid or something? The last 2 have been locked because of your repeated threads. This one will too once the mods view this garbage.
