Default :( I lost control :(

Well, i was driving and coming off the turnpike to get to my scionevolution club, and i was making my final left turn, my tires acted stupid on me and had to go cheap. so i basically skidded out of control and hit the median infront of me and jumped onto the other lanes and it turned back and i landed back ontop of the median. thank god i didnt hit n e one or n e one didnt hit me. i thank God that im ok and everything because i know it could have been worse. My tires are the worst, never buy kumho ecstas, the slide for no apparent reason. i will never buy from kumhos again. well heres a few pix of the incident:

Plz if your a mechanic or something, could you tell me how bad this thing is? like will it cost alot to fix and do you know whats broken? i took pics of behind the rims:

thank god for seatbelts too

You've got some structural damage. The bill is going to hurt. Sorry. I learned years ago that before anything else, tires are most important.

wheres the structural damage? the people that came to help me were from the scion club too and they said it wont cost too much. they said i should look in a junk yard for a tc and get one off of that and i shouldnt be looking for over $400 to spend

I think what you have there is a bent lower control arm, and wheel. I say lower control arm because I had a minor "mishap" on the road in November with my xA.

Essentially I spun out a smacked a telephone pole with the passenger side front fender and my wheel took most of the impact. Afterwards I had the same problem as you, minus the flat tire, and after I did an inspection I found my lower control arm was shaped like a "U".

You may have some other damage in there, so I would have a professional look at it first.

^^^ lol he was ahead of me, and no i wasnt going fast at the turn, im not stupid enough to make a fast turn on such a small closed space.

and yea people in miami are stupid, instead of them coming out of their car to see if im ok, they just stop to look and they drive away. god i hate gawkers. and the stupid truck for roomstogo almost hit me from behind, called the number on the back of the truck, maybe they will give me free furniture or something.

possible: upper strut damage, strut damage, upper and lower control arms, cv axle, check for any frame damage, sway bar damage, rim and tire of course....and add if any body and paint damage

might also want to check for any under carrage damage too

dam dude i head about this at the meet. im glad to see that you are ok and thats the most important thing. as far as damage to the car.

1. defenitely strut, axel, sway bar and component damage.
2. you also have some frame damage at the strut area because your shocks are pushed back to the door and the wheel is not centered.
3. LCA and UCA damage. i can tell by the stress on the LCA especialy
4. you might be lucky but also your axle looks fried and i would check also on the other side as you seemed to have taken a direct impact from the side which might haved shoved the engine over or given the axle housing a good wack.

from those pics that looks like that sums it up. if i was there i could tell you more.

mostly like also you will need to replace the entire assemblye from LCA to UCA for safety reasons as im sure also your rotor and caliper took a hard blow.

hopefully you have a good insurance company. the damamges are pretty bad but can be fixed with the right shop. i hope all goes well for you and if you need any parts info or good shops to help LMK.

also get rid of those tires and buy some flaken azenis, toyo proxies, yokohamas or pzeros.

damn that suck i had the same problem like 2-3 years ago you are going to have to replace all that side and where your shocks conect to the body see if it damage, if i was you call your insurance to fix it it will be alot cheaper tooo
