Default I love weekend projects

I bought my 06 tc in March stock from the dealership. Since then I have been doing steady upgrades. This weekend I attacked a couple of upgrades. Nothing new that most on this board haven't seen already. But If you cant brag why do them, right. So here are some pics of the simple things I did.

New Factory Pedestal Spoiler

Grillcraft 4 piece set in black

TRD Strut Brace

TRD Springs & Sway (obviously not shown)

These are not big mods compared to most, but I like to leave my car as factory as possible. Just though that I would throw these up there. Overall the suspension is 15X better and the car is fun to drive. The look is subtle but I catch people checking.
Oh and also I finished my HU led swap so the entire interior lights project is complete.
check it out HERE

brian, you are right. I just noticed that. Go fig, the street of boston. Since I am parked on the left side of the street and all boston streets crown, taking the pic from the right side, doesn't do the drop justice. It is lower then that pic. I will have to take another.

Nice I go to Lucky's once i a great while.....I used to ride my bike all the time to Castle Island when I was in college.

Anyhow, how long did it take you to switch out the springs? Did you need a spring compresor?

I run at castle island all the time.
As far as a compressor is needed, you need to have one. Not only to get the new springs back on but more importanly to get the stock ones off without having them hit you in the face when removing the upper perches. Total job takes about 3 hours max. More time is need for the rear due to the bolts being harder to get to and tougher to get off.
Definatly a DIY'er type job if you have the time and paticent, (like anything).
I got the spring compressor from autozone (like $40) and when I returned them I got that back.
