Because I've searched and can't really come to a conclusion i need help on two questions.....
1)What are the best brand and style of projector aftermarket headlight for my 06 tc? i've heard people say certains brands, but the LEDs burn out. i dont even really care for the LEDs, i just want a black housed headlight with projectors.
2)Same question for taillights. I like Anzos, but what i need to know is the best place to buy em from. ive seen em range from 200 to 350 for the same taillight.

as far as headlights i would go with the 08 oem heads, look good and you know they aren't sh*t

 

1. Aftermarket projectors are usually crap. Save your money and do a retrofit or just use the 08 headlights.
2. Stay stock, but if are totally against it, the Anzos are sweet. Check ebay, there's usually a bunch on there.

 

are the OEM heads plug n play?

 

almost, you just need to get a harness to change the 9006 low beam harness to an h11 harness.

 

what about pricing on that? cost of the headlights and new harness

 

1) 08 or bust. i dont care what you say. i have anzo HEADLIGHTS right now. POS.
2) anzo TAILLIGHTS are great. get them on ebay. eagle eyes are the same exact thing

08 headlights + hids will be around 500

 

I'm looking to buy the anzo tails also, and on ebay their like $130 shipped. Not sure where you are looking at them for them to be $200-$350. Thats insane, lol

I want 08 headlights but $400 is too much to spend on headlights. I'd rather keep the money so i'm that much closer to being a Top End Assasin. :D

Stick with ebay but go with a seller who has hundreds of feedback and a good feedback score. Theres multiple comanys. I like Kazespeed, but they are hard to get ahold of besides on the phone.

 

i'm threadjacking my own thread, but what kinda horsepower do you get with the TEA kit? and whats different between that and the S1

 

If you are looking for projector headlights go retro. I was running with Anzos for awhile and they blow hard. I just recently got some retros from lightwerkz.net and OMG im in love. so awesome

The TEA kit comes with bigger injectors, fuel pump, turbo is comparable to the GT35R (or at least thats what i've heard) so it's got more potential for power overall.

The s1 kit maxes out at 350hp.. the TEA has potential to get much more if I ever feel the need. This way I can just re-tune, rather than upgrading when I need more power.

Yup. But like mentioned before, you'll need to convert your bulbs to an H11.

you don't save money on a retrofit, a properly done retrofit is 500+ where as you can do the 08's for 400
