i recently upgraded the wheels on my Scion tC to some brand spanking new 18" chrome rims

i was just kidding, i want to thank JDM for the new neato carbon fiber hood for my automobile.

now i need to inquire about something. how does a forum member post pictures so other members can view them? thank you for your time and i look forward to hearing any and all responses.

I'm not real big on chrome wheels, but they'd look much better with a drop.

 

sorry but... no diggin it. Would rather see chrome on SUV's ONLY. Just my .02.

ummm...theyre kinda overdone in my opinion, i know on ebay someone sells stock rims that are chromed out, they look pretty good cause its OEM and still flashy, since thats what you're goin for...but i think (IMO) theyre a little more subtle and a bit classier than the ones you have right now, not so ghetto fab

 

Not feeling it. But you say you're going for the 'baller look' so you've definitely accomplished that. If I were you, tint would be my next mod.

For the chromes on the tSkeet, there are only a few colors that may look good. I don't like them since they are heavy.

I personally would go chrome either, black is my choice! but its what you wanted and got it well.

One thing I am surprised about is JDMcarboy.com actually came through with someone. They have screwed so many honda owners its sad. Took them nearly 6 months for my transaction, and I was still unhappy. Ordered a lip and twinloop for my civic, the muffler was dented and the lip was cracked in three spots, and one spot was large enough to almost break in half. Just a heads up, i would not go to jdmcarboy, just check their bbb ranking (an F? thats just sad)

 

I would say do what you want, but personally I would never put those rims on my tc. I normally do not comment on a persons use of the English language but what the hell school did you go to...I mean I hope English was not your first language.

Ain't feelin da chrome dawg. On a tC it looks like a gangsta-wanna-be ride IMO. Blk wit a chrome lip woulda looked tight. But do ya thang boy an ride dat whip.

lol! I think chrome would look good if it was one of those old-skool looking rims. 15x8 with a deep lip. I've never seen one, but just imagine.

 

nvm, just re-read your post. I thought you had an xB, but you don't, so nevermind on the 15x8. The only chrome wheels I thought looked good was the ones on the Nitto tC.

 

x2. Chrome just doesnt look right on a sport compact (I was going to say import, but I guess technialy the tC is not an import). Also, the placement of the tC emblem on the hood is "mind bottling"!
