All over your car? How bad? Can we see a picture?

You might just be able to get the car buffed out or touched up at a detailer.

But for a new paint job... To have it done right, that's a lot of money.

you'd be surprised as to what i've come up against working as a mobile detailer. hell, just the other day i did a 1994 civic that had received tunnel washes the past 12 years. you think your scratches are bad?! after a good 3-4 hours, it came out fine. just try and find a detailer that knows what he's doing and have him look at it. more than likely a bit of abrasive polishing can remove your defects.

I've buffed out scratches that went through the paint with Scratch-X. Took me an hour and a half, but I was doing it by hand. I can only imagine what a pro detailer can do.

Automatic Carwashes

My car hasn't been through a carwash even once, and it STILL has a few swirl marks from Dealership washing my car. Even though I tell them, "Don't wash my car."

that's the reason why i stand at the entrance of the wash area when i take my car to the dealer. a couple of times i've told them not to wash it, and then i had to tell them to drive around the wash area because they were about to pull in and have it get washed.

i figured i'd go the box rout and save a significant amount of money on gas, and i can do alot more creative things with the paint and bodyshop i have acces too....actaully starting today im two-toning my box :-D and if im lucky, and not lazy, i'll have my coilovers installed sunday...depends if iwant to do it afer a whole weekend of painting...check out the two-tone xB color section on sunday for some finished product stuff.
