There aren't any studs to slide into the key hole ^^ Its held with adhesive lol. If you leave the key hole activated all the time your going to wear it out much faster than it should. You could get rust build up and lose the oil / grease that lubricates it and keeps the mechanics from rusting.

^ its that part of the instructions that I want to know. Where is the adhesive going and how hard will it make it to take them out? And are these painted and cleared or just painted?

- eaxy to put on
- the glue goes on the slanted wall on the key hole, there will be a guide line on the key hole plug that will tell you when its strait because its a one way fit, Just put in and the adhesion does its job.
