Not in PA.. I have yet to see anyone else (any car, not just Scions) with black rims.. I was a little concerned about that when I got them but I realized it's mostly a west coast thing I think... I could be wrong, though.

It just might be... All I see these days are either black, color matched, or chrome. And i'm not referring to Scions specifically, I'm mostly referring to "rides" in general.
Not particularly my flavor...

I must add however "IF" done Right ~ can look pretty damn sweet.

it looks good, but it just doesn't look lowered to me for some reason. stock springs make it sit like a 4x4 though, hehe. trds are great, i just wanted some adjustability since the trds still look high to me.

o ok now i understand..... yea i just went with trd cuz of the 1.25 inch drop cuz i live in MI and the winters get pretty bad so.... plus i cant afford coilovers, but i think they do the job

That's the same exact reason I went with the TRD springs.
