Alright, I was the one on here to take the first gamble and snag the $250 RS1 kit. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...1543719&rd=1,1)

I have finally gotten it painted and installed - it fit rather well with very little modifications. I should also note that I used the fog kit with the lip without any fitament issues, I also modified my Fig grille to work with the fogs.. I still have one or two minor issues to resolve but all in all I'm very impressed.

Anyway, without further adieu, here are the finished pictures. Excuse the poor quality, I took them with my phone.

 

where'd the box ship from? my ebay rs1 kit came from abs dynamics directly.

 

looks good....how much was shipping and the cost of painting it? i guess what im asking is how much did you spend total?

 

The RS1 lip kit is one of my favorites. It may be a future purchase for me. I have the same question as Beedee does as well.

Definitely, especially with the fogs, it was teh complete kit that runs a few hundred other places!

 

hmmm, decision time for me. i live in so. cal and am local to a couple of the lip-kit vendors and can arrange pick up (kit costs $400), paint seems to be about the same cost that you paid....looks like i'll be spending around $800-$850 with whatever method i decide to go with.

 

paint shouldnt of costed you nearly that much.

it's a few pieces of plastic guys.

i paid $360 for a complete paint job on the lip kit AND my interior. colormatch is perfect. no flaws int eh paint at all.

i'll have to call around and see, these are just estimates i've gotten from the vendors when asking them approximate figures for getting the kits painted.

Not a rip, the abs had some scratches and stuff so they had to do a lot of prep work. Before seeing it they quoted just 300 for paint, the rest was for all the prep work. And it matches the paint perfect, they did a bang up job. It also depends on where you live,.. Thats about the average price to the best of my knowledge in Atlanta...

nice im gonna do that with trd drop also, i can't wait =D. do you have trouble with scratching the lip with trds? and did you have to get the lip kit painted yourself?

 

most of these kits come black and unpainted.
