INSTALLED MY 6000K HID TODAY
well...I purchased a non-branded kit which was very well made and came with a decent color instruction manual. Had fuses built into the wires...which is for people who don't wanna use a relay harness and It's safe for both ways. Also the ballasts were very slim and made it easier to mount them. Paid $105.98 shipped. Heard good things about slim ballasts. I don't have comparison pics because I was anxious to install the kit but you've seen pics before. These shots are during the day and I will have some night/evening pics up before I head into work. Onto the pics:

BTW...the xentec box was a kit I bought and had a bad ballast. I already have it sold when the new ballast comes in.

actually alot better then i expected. when i had the xentec kit on the street that one light lit up both sides of the road and the oem bulb you couldn't tell if its on or off. its alot further too lol...ill post up some night pics in a few hours when it gets dark.
So you don't have any problems with the cut off? There are a few threads on here that say the 08's are horrible for HIDs. Ahhhh, those pics make me want to put mine in so bad....it's too damn cold

u tryin to make an HID jingle with ur little rhyme!! LOL
overall is better than 04-07 headlights any day. i would comment on your 6k bulbs in your kit but I found that aftermarket 6k bulb lumen output tolerances varies vs oem.
small tip for halogen projector hid users:
the top pic where you're shooting at the building shows that you need to either raise or lower the flap inside the projector. dont not make it completly flat just bend until the halo disappears .
the little halo light above the main cutoff shows that your not maximizing your hid distribution which cause a small but slight glare to other drivers.

I'm looking at replacing my 35W kit to the 50W in a couple weeks. And maybe install my HID fogs for even more brightness.
