nice setup. I think I want to go with the is300 fogs. If it doesn't go well, this is the next nicest setup. GOOD JOB!

damn, I want function out of my lights I've been looking at some 2100XT lamps and putting them in the center lower grill and cutting out a part that they can pop thru so the light goes out without having to go thru the grill first.

kool. That is how I did my box. On mine everything is thicker though.

I really want these lights for my car and I just wanted to know if the wiring was simple, how did you connect the relay, did you take off the bumper, and do the instructions provided help at all?.

it would be nice if you did a write up for these lights since there isn't one for universal fog lights.

Excellent mod for under $50 man....but not my cup of tea if it envolves drilling thru the firewall and stuff...

I'm sure I'd be able to do it, I just don't want to...something about that gives me an uneasy feeling.

Props though!

I was thinking about these lights/still am but if I got mine I want to put them behind my grill in the same spots as those in the pics. I have the 4 piece black grillcraft black grill but I was also wondering about the light output.

I found these on ebay for about $50? Is this what you ordered?
How was the install and did you have to drill through the firewall like posted earlier?

so there is no existing hole to pass the wires thru the firewall? I thought I read somewhere that there was one...hm...i guess you can always wire it with a relay to the parking or low beam headlight, then you wouldn't have to worry about drilling thru the firewall

i love the way they look at night when they are on but in daylight they look out of place. at the same time that's where i want my fogs to go. i think the problem is that the fogs are sitting in front of the black plastic cover.

soooooooo... i have an idea but i don't know if it will work. maybe you can help me since you've poked around that part of the bumper. i was thinking that perhaps i could cut out a circle in the plastic cover so that the only thing sticking out would be the glass part of the fog lights and the rest would be hidden. it would give it more of a flush look. this means, however, that the fog would need to be held in place behind the cover. does anyone know if the bumper extends back far enough or does it pretty much end where that black plastic cover is?
