Night, did you put the rear lip on too? I want the lip, but too poor to afford all the parts right now. would it look funky with just the front lip and no side or rear? (matching painted of course).

i've seen some people having the front lip right now b/c of money situations too. i wouldn't say that it would look bad. Just slowly get all the parts to make it look better ya kno?

yeah, but wouldn't that make the front look a little lower than the rest of the car? From the side view, wouldn't it look uneven?
(I'm on TRD springs if that means anything).

I dont know, it might be cheaper to have all the parts painted at 1 time, instead of 3 different times. ahh...dilemma.

yea. i think people just get the front lip first or something. getting it all at once and painting it will probably be more cheaper b/c u can deal with them u kno?

most every lip kit out there will need some sort of trimming and such, they never are gonna be perfect, even the 5 Axis kit needs a little trimming and is not perfect bolt on out of box,it is close but not perfect.

car is looking good.

I've never installed a kit before, is the trimming part hard? What would I use for the trimming process?

couple of options,I kinda use them all

a good exacto knife isa must.
A good file set with a triange file, roundfile and flat file are all a must.
And last but probably the most used a good dremel, with good bit set.

personally I prefer using files cause I tend to over cut with the dremel and end up with one side of car that is perfect then other side that is not....with a file it is hard to over do the trimming as it only takes a little at a time.
