Default Installing the RS1 lip kit

Does anyone know how to install this kit. I've searched and came up with nothing . What i was really wondering was if the front bumper had to be cut in any way.
Thanks in advance.

no cutting, i have an rs1 lip in cf. all you need to do it line it up and drill 2 holes on each side to mount them in the wheel wells, easiest install ever.

only recent pics i've got with the lip on it are on my computer and i'm at work. i'll try to remember to post them up tonight for you. i actually got mine off ebay, but you can get it from racing solutions and some other palces. there's a bunch of sponsored sellers on here who sell it.

yup.. its a really easy install.

As stated all ABS tells you to do is use 4 total screws, 2 on each side inside the whee well.

However for extra strength, i placed double sided tape underneath the entire lip where it would touch the bumper, and i used two extra screws near the bottom grille towards the outer edges. Never had a problem once.

However, this time im going to use rivets when i get my lip.. that way it will stay of forever, and nobody can steal it.

what if you need to remove your bumper? Will you have to remove the front lip again?

no.. the lip attaches to the bumper so when you take off your bumper.. so does the lip, no need for reinstallation or anything.

cool thanks.

one more question:

I'm deciding to buy the grillcraft mesh grill, will it be hard to take the stock lower grill to put in the new grill once I have the lip on?

your probably going to have to trim your lip a little, otherwise the stock grille doesnt fit perfectly.

however, because you are paying alot for a grille, your going to want to make sure it fits with no problems.. your best bet, trim it about a half inch or so..

I have the FigureLLC grilles from ebay and they are awesome, fit fine with my RS1 lip kit in CF. Cheaper than grillcraft too.
