Default Interest: HID kit with anti-glare SHIELD for Scion TC - 9006

Hi guys,

Just became an official sponsor here.
I'm selling Kaixen HID kits that are made in Korea with high reputation for excellent quality.

For Scion xB, and xA, the bulbs are H4. This works well since Kaixen H4 HID kits comes with the anti-glare shield.

However, Scion TC uses 9006 application (or HB4).
Unfortunately, Kaixen did not make the shield for 9006.

This is because the engineers at Kaixen believe that 9006 application housings already has "good-enough" cut off built into the housings. However, if there are enough interest from TC members, I would try my best to convince them to build this anti-glare shield for 9006.

The anti-glare protection is comparable to expensive Projectors.
However, there is a difference. Projectors are like magnifying glasses. it focuses the light beam pattern, while the shield only provides the cut-off.

However, keep in mind that to install projectors, you would either have to buy a whole new housing with the projector lense built in, or retrofit it into your stock housing which can take a lot of time and money.

There will not be any extra charge for the anti-glare shield on Kaixen HID kits.

I just want to see if there are enough interest in these.

Price for the 9006 LOW beam HID kit is $299 USD plus $14.95 USD shipping to anywhere in the USA / Canada. This is a GB price that is running in the vendors section.

Ditto here. Even though I am on the list for Umnitza's projectors, I still have an s-10 that used 9006's and would be double interested in this setup youare suggesting.

4 interests so far .. and counting.

Right now, head office engineerings are saying that non H4 bulb housings (like 9006) already has built in cut off that is "good enough" for HID. It's not perfect like projectors, but its also not that bad. - hence some people on here claim that their cut off isnt so bad on their TC using regular HID kits.

The reason for this .. is... projectors costs a lot of money. a LOT. Also takes lots of time. So, this is like for those who want "better than stock cut-off" ... but not pay anything extra - like going with projectros.

I'll get some pics of Kaixen H4's on RX7's soon.

Do these lights fire off ballasts or do they plug right into the stock plugs?
