Default IS300 Fog Lights on tC?

Has anyone installed a pair of fog lights from a IS300 onto their tC? I thought I saw a picture somewhere on here, but cant find it anymore. If so, where did you buy the fog lights?
How hard was the install, and is there a switch that you could use that looks OEM in the interior of the tC? Maybe a OEM tC fog light switch, would that work into the wiring of the Lexus IS300 fog lights?
Please post some pics, and instructions if possible.

Thanks.

thanks, i saw those, but, has anyone made a kit yet for our cars? possibly some DIY instructions? Is there any universal kit that looks similar to the is300 kit that was made for scions? Anything that would not require hacking up your front bumper?

Check out the VRD Fog Lights. I had the IS300 fogs but never got to put them in, now I might just get the VRD ones.

yup.. harrison got it right, i did it to my last tC.

honestly people make them out to be harder than they really are to install, its honestly trial and error with the cuts, and its really easy to cut the front bumper, just ask any of hte FI guys.

just use a dremel and you will have no problems.

here is what they looked like on my tC.. they fit perfect with the ABS lip

and imho... these look a hell of alot better than the VRD's at the end of the day, the VRD's are too recessed for my liking, plus with a little bit of elbow grease, and about 50 bucks cheaper you can have some IS300 fogs nicely put in. just take your time installing.

The only cutting you have to do is if you have the OEM lip kit or similar, and it is very minor. If you don't have a lip kit, they just pop right in and they wire into the OEM harness (switch included).

well, i got mine at vertex racing, they installed the fog lights for me also. i was there watching them installing, and it only takes about 30 minuts or so. it's really easy for installing. it also came with instructions if you are going to install it yourself. call up Alex over there he is really helpful. i think you can find their telephone number in their website. www.vertexracing.com.

damn $250 is steep.... considering you could buy a good HID kit for that price... anyone know of anyone selling a used pair of VRD fogs?

Its gonna be pretty hard to find a used pair for now, because they haven't been out for that long.

Has anyone went with these foglights yet? They are sort of ugly on the inside, but with some yellow or black film overthem they would look pretty sweet. They are on ebay.Item number: 300070944903

understandable if you want to spend the extra $100 on the VRDs, or take the time to do the IS300 foglight conversion correctly.... which honestly, spraying a film of yellow or black or whatever color you wanted wouldnt be very hard... a 5 year old could do that. dont take that personal, but honestly, the VRDs are priced too high and dont look like they put out much light.
