Default JDM Lip Kit

Hi. My girlfriend has an 06 TC. I wanted to spice it up a little bit for her birthday and I remember her saying that she had wanted the lip kit from the factory. I was cruisin ebay and found a JDM lip kit which I think is the one that comes from the factory or at least it looks exactly like it. Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows if installing the lip kit is easy. I though I read something about it being completely bolt on over the factory parts and that I owuld just use existing holes and existing mounting spots that are already on the car. any input? this is the kit I wante to get.

fitment for the RS1 lip kit isn't bad unless it's 1 person tring to put screws on both sides at once, so your wrong there and do some more research on it cause why would alot of people get the RS1 lip kit if it didn't fit too well.

RS1, P1, and ABS Dynamic are all the same lip kit. I honestly dont even know anymore who was the first to come out with it. I know that the kits you find on eBay are generally the P1 kits. If you get it from RacingSolution.com its called RS1.

And for the love of what ever you believe in... there is NO SUCH THING as JDM ANYTHING for the tC. Stay far away from anything marketed JDM.

Here are a rule to live by. See more in the link in my sig.

Scion tC Tuner Rule 1: There are NO "JDM" parts for your car

Did you guys use the double sided 3M tape on your front lips?

I'm getting mine from the seller in El Monte. I think his name is Homer and he's got his own body shop and best of all he includes the hardware to mount these (unlike Racing Solution....what I was told).

I was at a shows the lst two weekends and saw two differnat cars with this kit.......the first kit was not put on snug and had gaps in the front........but it also was not taped and he did not have any edge trim on the lip either.

the second fit like a glove and the differance was he took two people to fit it and used the harware and put on edge trim to clean up the top edge just like the stock lip kit uses........

nice kit when you take the time to install completly.

the part I didi not like abouthte kit was the door jams.........the thing has a 1 inch gap between the kit and the door inner edge, but withthe trim on it looked normal, without it it looked wrong.

This is a nice kit, a little more agressive than most, but still nice. The fitment is good.
