Just for future reference e246. you can't have a Japanese domestic market (JDM) item when the car is made exclusively for United states domestic market (USDM) so don't go around asking for JDM parts for your USDM exclusive car.

When shopping on ebay keep an eye out for items labled as JDM.. chances are the item doesn't stand on it's own merrit so they need popular words like JDM to move the product.

also keep in mind that those lights are ugly and you're a bad person for wanting them. hah, just kidding. Buy what ever you want for your car.. it's your hard earned cash. if you really want them, you can just buy them off ebay.. just because it says JDM on the description doesn't mean that it's not going to work on your car.

you are right, just because it says JDM doesnt mean it wont work on your car, but chances are that the things that do say JDM tend to not work or not work well.

One of the biggest reasons why you shouldnt trust anything that says JDM is because these sellers dont know crap about what they're selling. All they wanna do is get the cheapest stuff they can and use whatever buzzword tactics are around at the time to sell their products. They will take the taillights of a tC and say something like JDM G6, COBALT, TC LED ALTEZZA TAILLIGHTS. The tC, G6, and Cobalt have relatively similar looking tails so they will just market that to all of those cars and hope someone is stupid enough to buy it. They dont care what they sell or the quality of it, they just wanna sell something. If something goes wrong, a product breaks, doesnt work, etc there is far more likely than not a chance that there will be no support. Your probably screwed out of your couple hundred bucks

 

I know something that's jdm on our car, the japanese sticker under the hood that tells the specs of the engine.

 

How is that any more JDM than any of the other parts?

 

well i found some diff. ones from matrixracion.com and the same ones are on there too. but dont say jdm, but there is other black ones too, anyone know if these are any good or the site, thanks for the heads up tho screw jdm lol, sorry 4 not knowing....

You forget, the JDM doesnt make them crappy headlights. Crappy tail lights make them crappy tail lights. It doesnt matter if you get them from matrixracing, ebay, or some other site, the same tail lights are still the same crap. There really are no good aftermarket headlights for the tC and most of the tail lights are crap as well. The only good aftermarket tail lights are TYC and Feint Lighting
