Default JP USA Bodykit Installed with new PICS NO 56K..!!

Finally got my car back and I must say this is this crappiest body work I have seen. The guy molded the side skirts which was cool cept they cracked and they dont sit flush against the car anymore. He seems to have broken the top plastic pieces that secure it. The sideskirt also seems to be under tension. These photos are for now and the body kit will most likely be removed tonight or tomorrow and be up for sale. If anyone is interested it will be 500 local pick up. I am not gonna unmold the sideskirts though it is possible.. Enjoy the photos.

Looks decent in the pictures... but they're obviously a little far away and don't really show the details.

Love the wheels though.

First Thank Goodnes I have a 20inch letterbox screen!...Those pics are HUGE!!!!...lol

In some Pics the paint doesnt match correctly?..or is it just the pic??

I can see on the Rear next to the exhaust tip something funky went wrong there too...

I actually like that B-Kit!...I bet its HELL driving around w/ it eh?..like driveways, dips, speed bumps??...

nah its definitely not a problem driving around with it. the b&g suspension is great. the paint is very close, but it was not faded into the vehicle. there is nothing wrong next to the exhaust tip, its just the remainder of the wax that was on them that the guy did not get off. i didnt wash my car for this photo. the only big flaw is the sideskirts not sitting flush against the side of the car.

I would take it back until he gets it right!! Is this a legitimate business or some shade tree body shop?

fiberglass or poly?? I would never recommend flush molding ANYTHING after I had a custom kit built for my porsche 944, and after 3-4 years the sides started minor spiderwebbing, then kinda split. I didnt drive the car but maybe 10,000 miles in 4 years.

Its probally for the most part, the best he could do with what he worked with. How much did you pay for labor?

on second look, they dont look molded in the same way my porsche was done, i mean mine was completly flush with NO visable lines (from wheel arch to wheel arch) it doesnt look that bad, but then again im sure in person I could pick out the flaws. Also if your sides are infact under tension, you WILL have problems within a few years. The stress will spiderweb.

Sorry to hear your not too happy with the work this guy did.

the lip kit didnt fit that bad. he definitely mad it worse. and the aftermarket sideskirt is only molded to the factory skirt, not to the body. and it is definitely under tension, thats why it will not push in all the way. im not sure how to fix it and how easy its gonna be to break the mold. probably gonna find out though. overall the kit has potential. just did a crappy job.

deffinitely looks alright in my eyes.

In terms of paint matching, rememebr paint cant always be matched up 100% if the kit wasn't blended with the original paint or the whole thing sprayed all together you have variations, but on yours I cannot realy see that much of a difference.

Also about your side skirts, I can see the tension, especially in pics 2, 4 and 5. Around the middle of the skirt I see a bending/warping thing which is the cause for it not sitting flush.

Other than that the car looks good, but i would deffinitely take it to the shop and tell them they still need to get it right, because in the end, you cannot afford for skirts to spider crack or complety warp out.

no 56k huh? It doesn't even look like the side skirts were molded at all...you can still see where the lines are from the kit and the car...yeah i would definitely go back and ask for my money back...or at least half of it since he obviously at least installed and painted it

i think your car looks good man. i would hang in there b cuz this kit is a real head turner. just a couple of tweaks man and your good. i wish you luck man

molded does make the kit 10 times better. it controls the kit's angles to fit much tighter

isaiah,,good luck

naw man, the skirts arent molded to the body, they are molded ontop of the stock skirts, thats why there is strees on them.
